Sony Ericsson G502
The G502 candybar-form phone is now on offer from Sony Ericsson. It comes packed with great features that are easy to use in a straightforward device that exhibits no pretenses.
Supporting UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 frequencies, the G502 is geared for Europe, unlike the new Z780a counterpart.
Whereas Z780 additionally houses aGPS functionality that tracks the user real-time, the G502 supports Google Maps for Mobile™ without GPS. However, you are allowed to plug in the GPS Enabler HGE-100 accessory into the phone, making the G502 just as good.
Other features of web-enabled phones are all present. Easy set-up of your email is done with a wizard, or alternatively, push email is made possible with Exchange ActiveSync®.
Your most frequently used websites are accessible with RSS feeds.
The mobile phone features M2 memory expansion, Bluetooth, and a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom of up to 4x. Video recording, video viewing and video streaming capabilities are also parceled in this hand device.
At dimensions of 109 x 46 x 13.5, the G502 comes in Champagne Black and Briliant Hazel.
Sony Ericsson G502's display at 240 x 320 pixel is, again, as good as any, if not better.
This is the “phone without the flip”, literally speaking, designed for loyal users of the candybar form.
