Sony Ericsson W380i is a mid-tier Walkman phone that comes in a small clamshell form factor. It offers tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE network support and has a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking photo's. The W380i display is of the 262K colour TFT type, measuring 1.9" with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. Also featuring an external OLED screen for music control and caller ID, this subtle display has a resolution of 36 x 128 pixels.
The stereo Bluetooth and the FM radio complement the main music features - a Walkman MP3 player, Track ID music recognition and memory expanadable via a Memory Stick M2 card. The the most exciting new thing the Sony Ericsson W380i offers is the added gesture control (seen previously in the Sony Ericsson W910). Here it allows you to manage calls, to control the music player or even to snooze your wake-up alarm by movements of the handset.
