Being exclusive to Vodafone the Nokia 6124 will be sold ready enable with quick single button access to Vodafone services via 3g broadband, presumably HSDPA giving up to 10 times the download speeds achievable on 3g networks.
Internet browsing and video streaming is viewed on the fairly large 2.0” display offering fantastic clarity and brightness. Pictures taken with the fairly lowly 2 megapixel camera are aided by the built in flash and panorama mode, all can be saved on the expandable external memory slot (up to 8GB).
The Nokia 6124 Classic is based on S60 and the Symbian operating system enabling Vodafone customers to download additional application directly to the phone, the user will also be able to access 2 applications at the same time, browsing the internet whilst listening to music for instance.
