Smart phones these days have been known to be bundled with a tempting array of features but consumers still longing for an alternative to the boring user interfaces found on conventional phones. With this in mind, HTC sets out to revolutionise the mobile phone market with its latest HTC Touch Diamond… and succeeds.
The ground breaking HTC Touch Diamond smart phone is the first mobile phone to have the TouchFLO 3D feature. With this, you can easily scroll through programs, surf the Internet while flipping through your extensive contacts and photo albums on the intuitive touch screen. This vibrant feature responds excellently to your finger while the outstanding 3D Qualcomm® MSM7201A™ 528 MHz graphics processor brings images to life upon the Touch Diamond's screen which incidentally is a 2.8-inch TFT flat LCD with VGA resolution.

Measuring 102 mm (L) X 51 mm (W) X 11.5 mm (T) this mobile weighs only a feathery 110g inclusive battery. The tri-band Touch Diamond features HSDPA/WCDMA network up to 384 kbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds. This phone is also GPS and A-GPS ready, making it an ideal phone with tracking feature. Connectivity is excellent with Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, and users can surf wireless using the Wi-Fi IEE 802.11 b/g setup. Smart phone enthusiasts will also be glad to know that the Touch Diamond comes included with HTC ExtUSB™, a special feature developed by HTC to incorporate an 11-pin mini-USB 2.0 with an audio jack. Two cameras are included: the primary 3.2MP autofocus camera and secondary VGA CMOS camera. Audio-wise, there are the standard built-in mic, speaker and FM radio.
