With a 5-megapixel camera, Xenon flash and
Carl Zeiss optics, Nokia claims the N82 delivers remarkably vivid photographs,
even in low-light conditions, often a complaint with many previous camera
phones. Moving images are captured at 30 frames per second in VGA resolution
and promise DVD-like quality playback...

Following the success of the hugely popular N95, the Nokia N96 takes the next steps in the "Mobile Computer" tagline that Nokia is trying so hard to get into common usage for its N-Series models. The first difference to note with the N96 is the huge leap in on-board storage, taking the 8GB of the second release N95 up to a whopping 16GB to rival the iPhone. In keeping with before the phone features an excellent 5 Megapixel Carl-Zeiss camera with full VGA (640 x 480) 30 frames per second video, Auto-Focus, Night Mode, Macro Mode and now Image Stabilisation and Geotagging for recording the exact location in the world of your photos using the GPS system...

We’ve had the Samsung P520 Armani featured for quite a while now
in our pre-release section and the internet is rife with rumours regarding
the model. Some rumours pitch this as an ill-founded attempt to beat
the iPhone at its own game; however with the release of the Samsung
F700 and the rebranding of the P520 as the P520 Armani, it is clear

On the surface the F490 appears to be a mildly
tweaked version of the F700 but this would be slightly unfair. Yes it
does still have the same 3.2” display and HSDPA capabilities,
but the improvements made do seem to be targeting the iPhone deliberately
with crosshairs...

With all of the hype surrounding the iPhone,
it was obvious that the other manufacturers were going to try and bring
out their own versions. The Nokia N81 and Sony Ericsson W910 spring
immediately to mind. These both have their pro’s, but neither
option looks like a true contender to the iPhone. This is where the
Samsung F700 comes in...

Samsung’s G600 is arguably the best
looking and is definitely the smallest 5MP camera phone on the market
measuring in at just 14.9mm thick at the top, and marginally less at
the bottom. Combining some great design touches and a perfectly proportioned
screen, the G600 is more than likely to turn a few heads...
