With HTC dominating the market in recent months with their wide-range of smartphones, the highly anticipated TYTN II is creating a large amount of interest amongst this highly lucrative sector, boasting such a wealth of features as standard.

Boasting a dual-action sliding QWERTY keyboard which slides out as normal, and then up at a 45-degree angle, HTC can be applauded for striving to try something different with their design ideas, and this certainly provides a better option than the normal flat keypad as found on normal smartphones. Needless to say, the TYTN II can be operated with a stylus as well as the keypad, or by fingers with the clear 2.8” touch-sensitive display.

One feature that’s sure to consolidate the TYTN II’s aim to be an all-conquering multimedia device is the wealth of connection options. As well as 3G HSDPA at 3.6 MBPS built in, there’s also Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and EDGE. Frankly you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to connection options.

Sporting Windows Mobile 6.0, the TYTN II is easy to use straight out of the box for anyone familiar with smartphone operating systems, and the addition of HTC’s new Touch-Flo technology, a new spin has been put onto the interfaces of old.

With a 3 Mega Pixel camera as well, the main aim to be an all conquering multimedia device seems right on track, and the large screen will also help ensure great pictures come out every time.

The only thing that might seem to be missing so far is Sat-Nav, well HTC are one step ahead as usual, as the TYTN II comes with a taster version of the Tom Tom Navigator 6 software similar to what was seen in the Taster version of the P3300 a short time ago.

With far too many other options and features available to possibly list here, it’s safe to say that HTC have come up with a great multimedia smartphone that can do just about anything. Ideal for businesses and gadget-freaks alike.
